The real reason I’m writing this is to tell you about the most delicious bread of all time, Dutch Crunch. I’m so utterly in love with the bread that I’ve made a sandwich with just the bread, mayo and hot pepper slices. It was sad and delightful all at once. There was a time in our not so distant past when gourmet restaurants and shops were trying to do everything with bacon that you could imagine. That has died down a bit, but the fact remains that people LOVE bacon.
