I’ve been known to indulge in the occasional breakfast or breakfast-for-dinner pancake. And by occasional I mean, every chance I get. There is something so delectable about syrup sodden batter that’s hot off the griddle. Jim’s pancakes though are nothing short of art. His site has some really cool ideas for pancakes if you looking to impress someone over breakfast and not only does he have pancake pictures, but he even has a few pancake-making videos to show his technique.
This is a pancake I could possibly attempt, although I wonder what the trick is to get the pancake batter to not ooze out and join?
This giraffe is awesome and so cute! Supposedly it’s easy to make…I don’t know about that, I’m happy if my pancakes are not burned and get flipped in one piece.
Apparently, he makes them for his super cute little daughter so they definitely have that ‘adorable’ look to them, but some of the most impressive pancakes were the 3D ones like the bridge and tower crane.
Keep up the awesome pancaking Jim! All you other parents out there better get on the griddle and start practicing.
Thanks jimspancakes.com! It’s good to know there’s a site for that.
